Help! 3A 3C for 6 nights joined by 2A for 3 of those nights. How to do this when everyone in room has to have same package. Wanted 2 bdrm at OKW, but now thinking 3 rooms at POFQ. Suggestions? Please!

    Hi Karen,

Choices, choices!  Thankfully, either of these would be good ones!

The two-bedroom villa at Old Key West Resort is SUPER nice and sleeps 8 very comfortably.  There is a Master BR with a King bed, a Living Room with Queen sleeper sofa and a Twin-sized pullout sofa chair, and the attached Studio has two Queen beds.  My extended family loves to stay there when we travel together.  The rooms are spacious and comfortable!  We love the large gathering room with a full kitchen, washer & dryer, etc...

If everyone prefers to have more privacy and quiet, then the 3 rooms at Port Orleans French Quarter are a good choice.  Remember, however, that you would be giving up the full kitchen, washer & dryer, and large gathering room which comes with the 2 Bedroom at OKW.  However, if the 2 adults that will only be there for 3 nights don't wish to purchase the same package as everyone else, then it does make sense to stay at POFQ and let them just add on their room and package (for fewer days), thereby saving them some money.  Also, if you were choosing to "pro-rate" their pay for the nights they were at OKW, then your long-stay group would be paying the extra (difference) for the 3 nights they were not with you.

So, if comfort is key, then I suggest Old Key West.  If price is key, then Port Orleans French Quarter may be the best solution for all.

If I had a little more information about the types of packages you were all planning to purchase, and whether comfort or price was of chief concern, I may be able to offer you help with a little more detail.  I am basing my answer on the fact that it would be a great savings for those that will only be there for 3 nights to purchase a separate package for fewer days.  I hope this has been helpful!
