Hey there, Sonia! Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question! I noticed that you are vacationing at Walt Disney World in March. It's one of my favorite months to go. The weather, for the most part, is just perfect and the
Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is in full bloom by then. I know you are going to have a great time.
Now, on to those tickets! It's actually quite easy to link them to someone else on your friends and family list using
MyDisneyExpereince, the only caveat is the tickets must be unused. Once a ticket is activated by someone entering one of the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks it can no longer be assigned. I'm assuming, however, your tickets are still unused since your trip isn't for another month or so. If you don't have the
MyDisneyExperience app already downloaded on your smartphone device, I highly suggest it. You'll benefit from having it while on your vacation at Walt Disney World. You can see wait times for attractions, mobile order food and even unlock your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel door. The app also makes the process of reassigning a ticket super simple.
Here are the steps via the app:
- Log into your MyDisneyExperience app
- Select the three horizontal lines icon at the bottom right of your screen - that will take you to the main menu
- Select the "Tickets and Passes" option
- Scroll through the tickets until you find the ticket you want to reassign
- Select the "Reassign Ticket" option and follow the prompts from there
If you don't want the app, however, it can be done on a computer as well.
Here's how:
- Log into your MyDisneyExperience account
- Scroll down to the section "My Plans, Reservations & Tickets"
- Right under that header, you'll see two options in blue on the left side of the screen. Select "Tickets & Memory Maker"
- If a ticket is eligible to be reassigned, you'll have the option to do so there
I hope this helps walk you through the steps, Sonia. I'm sure you're going to have no trouble. If you do, however, please feel free to come back and let us know how we can help you out.
Happy planning!
