Hello Barbara,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am excited to that your trip is coming up.
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is great for kids, but in the moderate resort category, I would choose
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Their amazing pool that is just like an old Spanish citadel with slides and water cannons, and they also offer Pirate Rooms with ship-shaped beds.
But nothing beats
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort's ambience and decoration, that put you right in the middle of Disney magic 24 hours a day. We stayed there last year, and my 5-year-old daughter fell in love with The Little Mermaid Standard room. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The larger than life characters were also a big hit with her. Leaving our room and seeing giant Ariel and Ursula every morning just made her day.
You might consider staying at a Lion King, Finding Nemo or Cars Family Suite. They are very spacious and you have the convenience of a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. The resort pools are so much fun! The Big Blue Pool is the largest on Disney property, where you can even listen to Disney tunes underwater.
Top top it all,
Landscape of Flavors is the perfect place to have your meals during your visit. They have several different options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, that will appeal to the appetites of everyone.
I hope this helps you while planning your visit, Barbara. Please come back with more questions.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
