HELP...We leave for our 1st Disney trip in 12 Days! Our girls do not know we are going, so I am trying to pack on the sly, but I don't know what to pack....any suggestion on what to pack, so I don't over do it, would be wonderful!

Monica, how ingenious! Not only are you visiting Mickey for the first time, you are presenting your girls the trip as an astonishing surprise. This will certainly be the most memorable holiday treat for your family EVER.

Expect sunny warm days in the 70s and cool evenings that can dip to almost 50 degrees, so pack layers. Shorts, pants, a jacket, and t-shirts make up your bare necessities. Comfortable shoes are a must. Pools at Walt Disney World resorts are heated, so don't forget swimsuits. Mickey or Minnie adorned clothing is always acceptable and if your daughters love to play dress up, you might want to throw in a couple of Disney princess dresses for the them to wear in the Magic Kingdom, but these items are just fun extras. Consider a cute dress or skirt if you have reservations at a nicer restaurant, but most eateries are filled with guests in casual park attire so no need to dress up if you are short on luggage space.

I never travel to Walt Disney World without sunscreen, band-aids, basic over the counter meds, and an ample supply of Diet Coke, but these items and almost any other snack or sundry supplies you can imagine are readily available on Disney property. If you are flying, purchasing a few munchies and SPF 40 lotion at WDW is certainly cheaper than paying the airlines for an extra bag.

Enjoy your inaugural visit to the mouse!
