    Help Moms! We are hoping to dine at California Grill on 9/8, during Wishes, but I can't figure out how to time the reservation. Is Wishes always at closing time (7PM)? On Halloween Party Nights, what time do they do that display and do they do both?? XOXO

    Hi Judy!  The Magic Kingdom will be closing at 7pm on September 8 and likely this will be a night for the great Halloween party, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. However, we don't have that information finalized and given to us yet.

    Wishes is generally been at 9:30pm during the party event and there is only one show that evening with it being a Halloween themed and not the original Wishes.  When considering a California Grill reservation you will have to understand that many guests tend to linger at their table and stay much longer then is necessary making that restaurant's reservation timing a nightmare.  If you have a dinner reservation made you will be allowed to use the private outdoor balcony area to watch this great show so if you come early and dine you can leave your table, hang out in the lounge, and then go outside to watch the show when it is time. If you make a later reservation then understand you still might not get to your table right away and most tables won't offer you as good a view as the outside area. Deciding on a time is so tricky here so just decide if you wish to wait before or after you eat to see the fireworks!
