Help! having my son's bday breakfast at Chef Mickey's 11:05, then Pirate's League at 1pm.... spending a.m. at MK---should I take the monorail to the Contemporary and then back to MK? Does it go directly? Should we use the railroad once in the park to PL?

Ahoy there Charles, Sounds like you have a great celebration planned for your little Pirate! You can absolutely take the Monorail from the Magic Kingdom to Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. It will be the first stop. Or you can make the short walk along the pathway from the Park to the Resort. After lunch, you might want to consider walking the 10 minutes back to the Park, since Magic Kingdom will be the last stop on the Monorail loop from the Resort. Once at Magic Kingdom, your First Mate will need to be in Adventureland for his birthday transformation. The Walt Disney Railroad does not make a stop in Adventureland but in Frontierland. So it really is his decision whether you should take the Railroad or not. I personally would walk from Main Street. I hope this helps! Please tell your Pirate I hope he has a swashbuckling good day!

Meet the Panelist: Monina, Ohio

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
