Help, I am having panic attack! our flight arrives Oct 23 at 11am and we have 2:25pm ADR at Chef Mickeys. We r staying at the contemporary and then ADR at 1900 Park Fare for 5:25. Will we be able to make both reservations when we arrive? should I cancel one

    Hello, Susan!

My last Walt Disney World Resort visit was just this past weekend. Our flight arrived at 10:00 a.m. We rented a car, stopped to get a couple groceries, dropped off our bags at our hotel room, and were inside Magic Kingdom Park by 12:30 p.m. Provided your 11:00 a.m. flight arrives on time, you are able to retrieve your luggage quickly, and you don't delay - you should be able to make a 2:25 Advanced Dining Reservation at Chef Mickey's, though you may feel rushed and a bit stressed. If your hotel room is not quite ready, you may leave any items you have with Bell Services upon your arrival to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Both Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare are buffet style meals - and there is so much delicious food at each location to enjoy. I do worry that having these meals so very close to each other, you won't want to eat much at all during your second reservation. I personally would suggest cancelling your Chef Mickey's reservation and grab a light snack instead. You will not feel rushed and stressed as soon as your vacation starts, and you will be nice and hungry to enjoy the delicious meal at 1900 Park Fare.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Susan!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
