    Help! We go in 6 days! Recently my Gpa passed away. My daughter is taking it rough. So I made photo button pins to wear on our laynards, so he will be with us on the trip. Will TSA let the pins go through security? My daughter would be devastated if so

    I am so sorry for your family's loss, Sarah.  I hope that the photo button pins will be of some comfort to your daughter.  As for getting them through security, it's tough to predict what might happen at your airport.  That said, I can tell you that my daughters have never had any trouble getting their Disney pins successfully through the security checkpoint.  We've traveled with their pin books as carry-on luggage many times without ever raising even an eyebrow.  I hope that you will have a similar experience, but if in doubt, it might not be a terrible idea to store your pins in your checked bags and surprise your daughter with them upon arrival.  Good luck!
