exciting experiences and
Member-exclusive spaces, there's nothing that adds a little pixie dust to my vacations quite like the dining and shopping discounts we enjoy as Members. I'm sorry that you're having trouble using your discount, but I'm happy to share a few details about accessing your Member Benefits to hopefully help clear things up for you.
Disney Vacation Club Member Benefits
can't be accessed through a MagicBand, so I'm sorry that someone gave you some confusing information. However, you will need to download your
new DVC Digital Membership Card in order to use your discount. All physical Membership Cards (those famous "Blue Cards") expired on December 31, 2021, and they've now been replaced with digital cards, which can be downloaded directly to your smartphone. Let me walk you through the process of downloading your new card, so you can get back to using your discount:
1. Make sure that you have the latest version of the
My Disney Experience mobile app installed on your smartphone and sign in with Disney Account credentials that are linked to your DVC Membership.
2. Tap the three lines in the bottom-right corner of the screen and select "Disney MagicMobile" from the menu.
3. Create a new
DisneyMagic Mobile pass by tapping "Set Up Your Pass" –– this pass will be stored in the digital wallet of your mobile device and act as your new Membership Card, along with giving you access to any tickets and other entitlements linked to your Disney Account.
4. Select your favorite pass style and tap "Add to Wallet" to finalize your new pass.
After creating your pass, I recommend opening your digital wallet to be sure it downloaded correctly. Once you see it, that's it –– you'll be able to access your discounts and all your other Member Benefits directly from your smartphone. If you ask me, it's just like having your very own Membership magic wand!
