Help! I just found out the pool at Coronado Springs will be closed, I have 2 toddlers and I was really hoping to utilize all the steps at the pool for an area for them to play on. Are we allowed to use another resorts pool? And if so, which ones?

Hi Danielle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel!

You will be settling into your room at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in just a few days and I know your family must be excitedly counting down. It has been a few years since my family has stayed at this Disney Resort hotel, but my son was a toddler when we were there and he loved it!

Since the Dig Site Pool is currently closed for refurbishment, you will want to check out the other three leisure pools that are also located at your Disney Resort hotel. You’ll find them located near the Casitas, Ranchos and Cabanas areas of the resort.

Pool hopping to different Disney Resort hotels is not generally allowed. Occasionally, it will be permitted because of a pool closure, but with three more pools on this resort’s property I don’t think this will be the case during this closure. It never hurts to ask a Cast Member at the Front Desk to see if there are other options, though. You can also ask the Cast Member for some tips on which leisure pool would be best for some safe, but splash-tastic fun for your toddlers!

I hope this helps with your planning, Danielle! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.
