Stacia, when you purchase
theme park tickets online or with the
Disneyland mobile app, the checkout process currently includes booking a
theme park reservation for your desired date. It sounds like this was already done since you mentioned purchasing tickets for a specific date and the system isn’t allowing you to make a reservation with these tickets. However, it’s definitely a good idea to check your current reservation status to be certain! After purchasing your tickets, you should have received an email containing your ticket confirmation number and the reservation details, including the park reservation dates and the theme park you plan to visit (or the starting park if they are
Park Hopper tickets). The subject line of my most recent ticket transaction email was “Disneyland Confirmation,” so it might be helpful to search your inbox for that phrase if you’re having trouble locating it.
You can also verify your theme park reservations by logging into your account on
disneyland.com or in the Disneyland mobile app and selecting “Ticket and Reservation Details.” Choose the “Make or Modify Park Reservations” link to view "My Theme Park Reservations." If you see your intended date, you’re all set!
