Help! Our flight was just switched by the airline. We are now arriving at 2:20 on 6/ 3. We are staying at the GF. We have Luau reserv. at 5:15. I plan on doing the pre-registration on the computer. Will we have enough time to make the Luau?

Hi Amy - I feel your frustration...the good news is you can walk to the Luau from the Grand Floridian (GF) by following a walking path so you really don't have to worry about transportation once you are at GF.  (Of course you can use the monorail if you prefer and have the time.)

It's going to be tight but I think you can still make it.  Lets assume the flight is on time.  You didn't mention if you were using Magical Express or not.  If you are, I would allow 60-90 minutes to transport from the Orlando airport to the Grand Floridian.  Worse case scenario, you should be at GF by 4:00.  You may want to consider bringing your luggage on the bus with you.  (If you decide to do this, do not put the magical express luggage tags on your luggage.)

You are smart to consider using the online check-in up to 10 days prior to your arrival - this will save you time at check-in.  With any amount of luck, your room will ready upon arrival.  .

It will be tricky if your room is not ready.  If you were going to change before the luau, you may want to have your clothes in a carry-on to make them easily accessible...you'll then need to store your luggage with bell services.

If the time frame seems too tight for you, have you considered moving the Luau reservation to the later show or another night?  I know this isn't always ideal as it may affect one of your other Advanced Dining Reservations.

Wishing you the best of luck, Amy!  Diane
