Help! First WDW trip from 2/6-2/12. I can't figure out which days for which parks. I have 6yr DS, 5yr DD, 15mo DD. We plan to take pm breaks for naps/swim. I don't think we'll use EMH, with slow risers and baby. ADR for Akershus dinner 2/8. Any advice? Thx

    Hi Emily,

Everyone has their opinions on itineraries but here are some thoughts for you. If you aren't planning to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours (EMH), plan to visit a park on a day when it is not offering EMHs. You may avoid some of the crowds.

Plan on Epcot on the day of your Akershus reservation. It makes sense to visit Epcot on that day & not running back & forth.

If parades & the nighttime firework displays are a must-do, plan to visit that park on an evening when they are offered. Fantasmic is not performed every evening so if you want to see it, plan to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS) on that day. Parade & fireworks schedules are available online by clicking on these links:

    Magic Kingdom
    Disney's Hollywood Studios
    Disney's Animal Kingdom
    Epcot

Select a month from the drop down list. Then click on a specific day for parade & fireworks schedules. Keep in mind that schedule are always subject to change without notice.

Involve your 6 & 5 year olds in the planning. Ask each of them what their 4 must-dos are for each park & make those a priority. You can even Customize your own Maps.

If you have a late evening in a park, don't plan to visit a park first thing the next morning. You've got plenty of days to enjoy some of the amenities at your hotel or other things on property without spending every minute in one of the parks. Wishing you many magical memories :-)  Allison
