Greetings Gwen, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you've decided to be our guest next month at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
When making
Advanced Dining Reservations for
Walt Disney World restaurants, the largest search parameters you can use are date and meal periods, like breakfast, lunch, or dinner. At this time there is no way to make the system aware of your flexibility, although this will work to your advantage when trying to reserve a table at a popular spot like
Chef Mickey's. My advice is to settle in while enjoying your favorite Disney+ show (I suggest the Imagineering Story when you're awaiting a Disney vacation!) and click around until you find your preferred dates and times.
To get the process started, In the "Things to Do" heading on
the main Walt Disney World page, under "Dining," select "
Make Reservations." Find the restaurants you want to reserve one at a time, and click on them to search available times for specific days. Alternatively, you can also use the filters at the top of this page to see what restaurants are available at a given date and time of day.
If one of your choices is completely booked during your travel week, I suggest checking back periodically as your trip approaches; you might catch a cancellation. Additionally, consider using the
Mobile Dine Walk-Up feature on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. With this handy mouseketool, you can check same-day availability at participating restaurants via the app, or by scanning a QR code located in the restaurant’s lobby. It's contact-free, so there’s no need to visit the host stand to check availability.
I hope this is helpful as you make final preparations to travel and dine on delicious Disney food next month, Gwen. If there is anything else we can do before your adventure begins, come back and see us anytime.
Bon appétit!
Betsy
