Hi Paul! Wow, you have an amazing opportunity to experience the great benefits of the Disney Vacation Club for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. Both are great choices.
We absolutely LOVE the beautiful and rustic atmosphere of
Disney's Wilderness Lodge Villas! My children had a blast when we stayed there in November. My 3 year-old twins couldn't get enough of the waterslide at the pool, but we also enjoyed so many of the fun recreational activities like watching a movie under the stars and making s'mores at the campfire. When it was time for rides and attractions we enjoyed the short water-taxi ride to Magic Kingdom Park. I loved how peaceful and quiet Disney's Wilderness Lodge is.
But given the young age of your children I’m going to suggest
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort because you can take the
monorail to both Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. With a toddler and infant nothing is more important than ease of transportation. On the Monorail your son can stay fast asleep in his stroller because you won’t have to fold it up when you board! Meanwhile your daughter will love the view from way up high. Disney's Wilderness Lodge only has a water taxi to Magic Kingdom Park, it's not on the monorail.
You'll enjoy the super modern style of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and all the
recreational activities.
I'm convinced you'll fall in love with the Disney Vacation Club experience so there will be plenty of time to visit Disney's Wilderness Lodge and many other deluxe villas in the future.
