HELP! Family of 4 w/ 2 20+ sons arr 4/27 dep 5/4. I've checked all recommended sites & I'm going crazy confused. I need a day by day recommended park visit list & so hope someone can help give me the very best schedule for us for this week.Staying

    Hi, Joyce!

Not to worry; trying to plan the perfect trip to Walt Disney World can be a daunting task, with lots of differing opinions on the matter due to personal interests, budget and other factors such as dining. I'll give you a basic suggested itinerary, but feel free to send me more information so that we can tweak it to suit your own family's needs even better.

My first stop is always touringplans.com, a great, unofficial crowd-predicting site, in order to determine where the crowds may be during our stay. Complicating factors such as Special Events, holidays and even marathons are all listed on this site, too, making it very easy to begin to map out your days.

According to touringplans, the following schedule would be great, crowd-wise (I bolded my recommendation, based on enabling you to see each park more than once):

    4/27: Magic Kingdom or Epcot
    4/28: Epcot
    4/29/: Epcot or Animal Kingdom
4/30: Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios
5/1: Epcot (but Hollywood Studios is a close second)
    5/2: Epcot
    5/3: Epcot
5/4: Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom

Next, it helps to know if you can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours or a Disney Dining Plan, both of which are available to Guests who stay at select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Send me another question, Joyce, letting me know where you'll be staying, if you have Park Hopper Tickets, if you've added on the Water Parks and More Fun Option and if you have a Dining Plan. From there, we can help you carve out an itinerary you're sure to love!
