Ahoy, Melissa!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As soon as I read your question I became so excited! Learning that your family hasn't cruised before and is planning a high-seas voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line is such magical news! I'm honored to help you begin planning your vacation of a lifetime.
You're starting the planning process at the perfect time because the
Fall 2019 Itineraries and Departure Dates were recently announced! Since you already know that you'd like to set sail out of the beautiful port of New York, you can narrow down your search to just those itineraries. Once you've chosen a particular cruise out of New York, I recommend booking it as soon as possible because Guests get the best availability and rates the more in advance they book!
One of my favorite parts of the booking process is selecting our staterooms! The staterooms aboard Disney Cruise Line are very spacious but still cozy; they can comfortably fit a family of four! If you're looking to be a bit more budget savvy while still getting a view of the ocean, take a look at the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom. The Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah will be priced slightly higher, but would be another excellent option for your entire pirate crew. If you're thinking of splurging a little, choosing two connecting staterooms will give you double the bathroom and living space! Plus, if you or your daughters stay out late some evenings during your cruise, you won't wake the other family members up when re-entering your staterooms.
Melissa, I hope I was able to help you navigate through the beginning stages of selecting your family's upcoming Disney Cruise Line adventure! I'll be so excited to hEAR when you've booked your inaugural voyage!
