Help! Did Disney cancel FP+ reservations for the magic kingdom parades and fireworks? I have read that they recently did and you can no longer FP those events.

    Hi Sabrina,

Disney has stopped issuing FastPass+ for parades and fireworks at Magic Kingdom.  It's my opinion that they were made available during the time that the main hub around Cinderella Castle had not been renovated and expanded to accommodate their guests comfortably.  Renovations to the main hub have now been completed.

As always, Disney is constantly reevaluating their spaces and services to make their guests' stays as magical as possible, and this includes elbow room.  Those FastPass+ selections may come back at a later date, so I would keep checking back from time to time.

With all of that said, you can still grab a great spot to see the fireworks and parades.  Make sure you get a park map when you arrive.  The maps have the parade route clearly marked, and you'll be able to scope out a good spot while you're enjoying your day...just make sure to get there about 45 minutes before start time.  It's what I do with my family.  We pick out a nice spot, buy some snacks, and relax after a fun day.

I hope this helps and that you have a magical trip!
