How do I get help with dining, it says my party is too big and will only let me book one table?

    Hiya, Tamara!

Yum! Dining at the Disneyland Resort is one of my favorite things. I hope you can enjoy as much as possible of the dining experiences offered.

You’re right, dining reservations can be elusive, especially for large parties. The dining reservation system allows you to enter your large party size. But since many restaurants don’t feature tables large enough to accommodate larger parties, you may still find the system is unable to find a match for a given restaurant. I recommend seeking out multiple reservations for approximately the same time with smaller party sizes. Most restaurants at the Disneyland Resort have tables that can accommodate parties of four to six Guests. So I suggest trying for reservations for parties of about that size.

You may also find it helpful to recruit assistance from other members of your group to log in with their accounts and try for reservations as well. When it’s time to eat, let the Cast Members at the check-in podium know you have multiple parties you would prefer to have seated near each other. While they may not be able to guarantee that everyone is seated near each other at the same time, they will do their best to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

Because tables are limited and dining destinations at the Disneyland Resort are very popular, I also recommend being as flexible as possible. Consider searching for reservations at times outside the traditional meal times. And this may be an opportunity to try out restaurants new to you. You never know what surprising menu options you may discover! While most restaurants at the Disneyland Resort feature more intimate settings, there are a few that have larger spaces and are better suited to accommodate larger parties. A few that come to mind include Storytellers Cafe in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or Goofy’s Kitchen at the classic Disneyland Hotel. They are both within easy walking distance of the theme parks. I am also always amazed at the quality menu items available at the many quick service restaurants at the Disneyland Resort. They are made even more convenient with mobile food and beverage orders.

I hope that helps you with your Disneyland Resort dining plans, Tamara. May all your dining delights be as delicious as you are dreaming.
