Ahoy there, Rhonda!
Happy to have you join our merry crew here at planDisney. Captain Mickey cannot wait to set sail with you and your family on an adventure at sea! What a fun, festive sailing it will be with a large group. It will be like having a family reunion on a Disney ship!
To find out how much cruising will cost, check pricing on the
Disney Cruise Line website. You will enter in your travel dates, the number of Guests in each stateroom and your preferred stateroom category. That will enable you to know exactly the cost for each level of stateroom.
To make your cruise reservations, you can either
contact a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist or a Travel Agent to make reservations for
multiple staterooms for a group totaling 20+ Guests. You’ll want them to then link all the staterooms for your party together. This is important to ensure that during
rotational dining, they will have you all seated together or at tables close to each other.
Additionally, your family may want to coordinate stateroom locations and select connecting staterooms so you can leave the door open between rooms to feel more connected. Using the
Deck Plans and choosing your ship in the upper left-hand corner, you can go ahead and scope out which staterooms are connected. Or simply tell your Vacation Planning Specialist and they can look for connecting staterooms for you!
Finally, you and your crew should all download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It’s an incredible resource for finding showtimes, dinner menus, activities and entertainment offerings. With a large group, it’s also a key tool in keeping your family connected throughout the day via the chat feature; that way, you can plan on activities you all might want to attend together and to keep tabs on all the kiddos who may be busy in the
Youth Clubs.
This is just the beginning of vacation planning, so as you get further along, let us know if you have more questions. Rhonda, I cannot wait for you to set sail with your whole family on an adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
