Help! I am completely overwhelmed! I am usually great at planning vacations, but this one is getting to me. We are not staying on property. My parents got us their timeshare close to Animal Kingdom. What can we do or not do?

Hi, Laura! Planning a Walt Disney World vacation is overwhelming even for the best vacation planners. That's why we're here!

First, you CAN get yourself a My Disney Experience account set up. This is a great planning took, and an awesome way to keep track of the plans you are making. You'll be able to see dining reservations, FastPass+ times, and your day by day itinerary at a glance.

Next, you CAN buy Disney theme park passes. Some people buy them all at once, others purchase them for one family member at a time. As an off property guest, though, I want to make sure you have them for each family member at least 30 days prior to arrival. The big reason for this is your next CAN do item!

Disney's FastPass+ allows you to prebook times for certain attractions at the theme parks. You CAN do this 30 days prior to your arrival. It helps you to avoid some of the longer lines for the most popular attractions, so when you are at the Walt Disney World website, browse through the theme parks and the list of attractions to find the ones that will be must-dos for your family

You CAN book some of the amazing Disney dining experiences beginning 180 days in advance of the day you wish to dine. So, if you'd like breakfast with Mickey Mouse on your first day, you can book a meal 180 days in advance of your arrival date to do just that.

There is one more thing you CAN do. Relax! You are a rock star vacation planner, and you've got this! But if you need me, you know just where to find me.
