    Help! Coming to WDW to celebrate nephew's 10 th birthday. This will be his 7th trip. What do you suggest beyond the parks? We have heard good reviews about Splitsville. Can you reserve a lane in advance? Reading Kingdom Keepers. Cheers from Ontario!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Splitsville is a fabulous place to bowl (and to dine).  I have been there twice and had a great time both times.  You can not reserve a lane in advance, but you can pay a premium price and basically move to the front of the waiting list; just ask about that when you arrive.

    My sons, ages 13 and 8, both love taking a sea raycer out on Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake.  You can rent one at any of the resorts on Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake; you don't have to be staying there to do that.  My two boys also love seeing Cirque de Soleil in Downtown Disney and going to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.  Whatever you do, I do suggest doing a special birthday dinner.  You can get a small cake at the restaurant, but it needs to be ordered upon check-in, or you can pre-order a custom cake for the celebration.
