Help CBR 4/10-4/16 we have adr for 1 meal per day, need mor, going crazy I don't want to overplan, but don't want to lose cash, have dp,first time, any suggestions for quick service, how much cash should i plan on bringing for extra food?or should plan cover all

Stacey, the first time my family purchased the Dining Plan, I had similar concerns/fears.  It can seem a little overwhelming until you've been through the process.  Every family is different, of course, but the food credits we were given on the dining plan were more than enough for our family.  In fact, we found ourselves trying to find ways to use up all of our snack credits the last couple days of our trip.

Some quick service options that my family enjoys are:

Magic Kingdom - Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe or Pecos Bill Cafe
EPCOT- Sunshine Season Food Fair in the Land Pavilion
    Animal Kingdom- Flame Tree Barbecue
Disney's Hollywood Studios- ABC Commissary or Toy Story Pizza Planet

As far as extra cash, you might want to bring enough for one or two quick service meals.  You probably won't use it, but it's good to be prepared.  Also, remember that gratuity and alcoholic beverages are not included in the plan, so you will need to pay for those as well.

    Have a great trip!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
