HELP! I can't decide on anything. I'm taking my two girls(4&8, at time of visit) to WDW for their first time in Jan '10 as their Christmas present. I need major help on picking a resort. I know I want short travel time to MK and $$ friendly($3500; 6N/7

Hi Samantha! I know how hard it can be to choose a resort. They're all so wonderful in their own ways - it's hard to pick just one!

Luckily for you, January is in Disney's value season and this is when you get the lowest rates on rooms. If you are looking for something close to the Magic Kingdom I would recommend taking a look at the Wilderness Lodge. Transportation to the Magic Kingdom is available by boat or bus. The Wilderness Lodge is considered a deluxe resort, but because it is not on the monorail line, it is a more economical choice. If you book a standard view at this resort for six nights, you should have plenty of money left in your budget for park tickets and the dining plan if you would like it.

The Wilderness Lodge is a very beautiful. The theming is spectacular and it is one of my favorite resorts. You can view the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach, and your daughters might enjoy the geyser that erupts every hour.

Your daughters are very lucky to be receiving such a wonderful gift for Christmas! I hope you all have a wonderful time!
