Hi Todd! You are about to embark on a magical journey! Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is (almost) as fun as the vacation itself!
My first piece of advice is to visit the Walt Disney World Resort website. Once at the site, click “My Disney Experience.” This is where you will set up your
My Disney Experience account. This account will hold all of your eventual reservations - hotel, tickets, dining, special activities, etc! The magic is just getting started!
Next, click on the heading that states, “
Places to Stay.” This is where you can begin to take a “tour” of the hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection! This is like finding your “home away from home.” There are resort hotels available in the value, moderate, and deluxe ranges. In the value range, I like to recommend Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. It’s the “Disney-est” of all the hotels! In the moderate range, I recommend either Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort or Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort! These are both beautiful resorts! Finally, in the deluxe category, I recommend Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney’s Riviera Resort, or Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! These are top-notch accommodations that will make your stay feel extra magical!
Todd, when you select your resort hotel, I recommend that you book a vacation package. This will combine your resort hotel and your theme park tickets! Finally, always be sure to check the
Special Offers to see if there are any money-saving deals around the time that you want to visit!
Todd, if planning your vacation online isn’t of interest to you, you can always call one of the friendly Cast Members at the Walt Disney World Resort! They can assist you with your planning! They can be reached at (407)-939-5277!
