Congratulations, Valerie!
Disney Cruise Line's inaugural voyage to Alaska will return to Vancouver tomorrow, and I can't wait to find out all the scoop from my friends on board! Like you, I'm wondering how my crew is going to see it all on this once-in-a-lifetime vacation and just how we're going to pack for it, too!
I would encourage you to carefully study the
Alaskan Port Adventures for what interests you and your husband most. Speaking from experience, my children will say that they remember vacations taken when they were three or younger -- yet, what they're really recalling are the photos/videos we took. You'll definitely want to include your little princess, but you and your husband also may want to venture out for the more adult-oriented or active adventures while she stays safely on the ship.
Since this itinerary is popular because of the ports of call, the Port Adventures are going to fill up sooner than those for other itineraries. Therefore, if you have your heart set on glacier trekking or dog mushing, you may want to go ahead and make your plans now. However, if you're content to take whatever is available, then I think your plan to book while you're on board may be just what you need. Because there are so many with such a wide range of interest and activity levels, you may be content with what's offered.
Thanks for stopping by to ask a question. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
Andi
