Help!! Arriving 8/31-9/5. Regarding Illuminations & Fantasmic, I have a 2 year old son and am wondering which is best for him to see. Is Fantasmic scary for toddlers? I would hate to miss Illuminations if we end up walking out on Fantasmic. Help!!

I hate to steer anyone away from Illuminations as that is my favorite fireworks and laser show at Walt Disney World.  But for the sake of a child you might find that Fantasmic keeps his interest more then Illuminations.  He will see many of the Disney characters at Fantasmic and will enjoy all the action that takes place during the show.

It isn't really scary, however, some children don't like the loud noises.  I suggest you make sure you don't sit too close to the front where the noise can tend to be louder.  As with all attractions that have a bit of noise and action I talk my grandsons through those moments.
