HELP! We arrive 1/18/12 & our flight gets in at 8:42AM/we depart 1/14/12 at 6:10PM. I have a 1yo & 2yo that require naps. What am I supposed to do before we check in and once we have to check out? I am afraid my kids will be miserable due to lac

Hi, Laura! Here is a bit of good news.  Upon arriving, the first thing you will want to do is check-in at your Walt Disney World Resort. You can do this anytime on your arrival date.  Even if it is before the check-in time, you will go there to get your Key to the World card. It serves as your room key, park tickets, and dining card, if applicable. You will need it to get into the park and to use your Disney Dining Plan, if applicable.  Your room will probably not be ready if you check-in before the set time, but you can leave your bags with luggage services, and go enjoy the parks!

Disney has a wonderful service that will call or text you to let you know when your room is ready. This is often before the stated check-in time, so maybe you could squeeze in a nap.  If not, find a quiet place in the park (a show, movie, or quiet corner) and let the little ones sleep.

On check-out day, your Magical Express will pick you up about three hours prior to your departure time.  That will be about 3:00 for you.  Again, you could hit the parks and find a spot to nap when it is time. If not, maybe they will get a nap on the Magical Express back to the airport.  Happy planning and have a magical vacation!
