Help! Have ADR for H&vine 6/1 @ 8. Park was opening @ 9 & want to sign son up 4 Jedi training BUT HS now opening @ 8am! Can I take DS to sign up while DH takes DD to reservations and meet them after signing up or will it take too long? Change ADR t

    Hi Michelle,

Ideally, I recommend changing your reservation to 8:30, but at this late date that may not be possible.  You should arrive at Hollywood & Dine 20 minutes prior to your reservation, around 7:40.  Sign in your party and wait for your table.  If you're not seated by 8:00, quickly take your son to sign up for Jedi Training.  You should be ahead of the crowd since you'll be in the park before the turnstiles open to regular guests.  Make sure you have your phone with you, so your husband can call if you are needed back at the restaurant.

Again, changing your reservation would be the easiest (and most relaxing option).

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
