Hi, Lynne!
A spring-time vacation in Walt Disney World sounds great! You must be so excited!
Unfortunately, the few weeks around Easter are some of the busiest of the year, so the
special offers during your travel period may be limited. Because of this, I would book my flights first getting the cheapest dates possible on your flights then plan your room around that.
To make your vacation as economical as possible, book a room at a Value Resort. These resorts offer the best pricing. Regardless of the resort, Standard Rooms will always be the best price.
For tickets, book "Base" tickets without pricey upgrades like park hopping or water parks. While these options are nice, they can really add to the price of your ticket.
Plan ahead! Start saving now! I like to get Disney Gift Cards and put them away so I can use them for meals, souvenirs, and even to pay for my room.
Finally, bring along items from home that can really add up if you get them at WDW: autograph books, rain ponchos, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, etc. Bring these items from home to save a few extra dollars. It will surely all add up!
Please keep us posted as you plan your magical vacation! Enjoy!
