Welcome to planDisney, Carey!I'm excited about this topic. The most recent time my family and I enjoyed a Disney cruise out of Port Canaveral was aboard the Disney Treasure. I bet you can't wait to experience all that the Treasure has to offer. You've certainly picked a great stateroom on the Treasure. Stateroom 11036, a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, will provide you with endless ocean views, sea breeze, and exceptionally convenient access to one of my favorite venues on the ship: Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods! When it is time for you to participate in the mandatory assembly drill, you will head to the port side of the Walt Disney Theatre balcony on Deck 4. Be sure to glance at the assembly station information sign attached to the inside of your stateroom door for safety instructions as well as a convenient diagram showing the location of your assembly station. Are you planning any other experiences while you are in the area? After my family disembarked from the Treasure, we boarded Disney Cruise Line ground transportation toward Disney's Art of Animation Resort. That was our home base for an incredible weekend exploring the theme parks of the Walt Disney World Resort. And the Treasure wasn't the only source of delicious food during our vacation. Mmm! I'm still dreaming of the delicious pastries we enjoyed at Chefs de France in EPCOT!Wherever you end up, please feel free to visit us again here at planDisney. It's our pleasure to offer advice and support to help you make the most of your Disney Cruise Line vacation.Happy sailing, Carey!~Tony
