Hello Susan and may I wish you a very warm welcome to planDisney!
I must say that the Holidays are one of my most favorite times of the yEar to vacation within the enchantment of Walt Disney World Resort. I love
Christmastime at Disney, especially within the
Magic Kingdom Park where everything seems to be even more magical than usual. My other star-topped location to find Yuletide treats and delicious seasonal fare is at the
Taste of Epcot® International Festival of the Holidays where each Country in World Showcase shares its own individual winter traditions, food and beverages.
In past yEars, I've enjoyed
Halloween on October 31st at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, and then as if by magic on November 1st the Disney Theme Parks, the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and
Disney Springs all begin their traditional Christmas transformation. It's just as if with a little Mickey magic, overnight everything begins the change from spooky to sparkly!
Susan, I would say that to provide an estimate on when Disney puts up the Christmas decorations, Guests can expect the Holidays to begin to arrive at Walt Disney World Resort from November 1st and then be fully decorated by sometime mid-November.
A few yEars ago
The Disney Parks Blog allowed Guests a sneak peek into how all the seasonal decor is installed by sharing this magical timelapse video. For me, nowhere decorates for Christmas like Disney does, it really is breathtaking and quite awe-inspiring!
Susan, I hope I've been able to provide a little jolly Holiday insight today for your upcoming November vacation to the most magical place on earth. If you did have any further questions about visiting Walt Disney World Resort, then please do pop back to
planDisney where I'm always happy to ho-ho-help!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
