You’ve come to the right place with your planning question. As a professional event planner, I can’t think of a better way to end a conference day than to spend it at Walt Disney World! I really had to dig deep in my memory bank for this one to the last time I was able to purchase discounted convention tickets for my own family for the days following an event I hosted at a Disney property convention hotel.
When purchasing specially priced
convention tickets for Disney World, the delivery options depend on the event you’re attending. Some event ticket sites will have a will-call pickup option while others have a mail delivery option. The options available depend on the event organizer. Once your ticket purchase has been completed, you’ll be sent a confirmation email - this email typically contains your ticket confirmation number.
Once you have your tickets or that handy confirmation number I mentioned above, you’ll be able to enter either the latter or the number on the back of your tickets in your My Disney Experience account pretty easily. Just open the app, tap the menu icon (☰), then tap My Tickets & Passes, then tap the plus (+) symbol at the top right of the page. From there, tap Link Tickets & Passes.
If you have any trouble with this, you can also call the ticketing phone number listed on your event's ticket microsite - that number will dial a dedicated team of Disney cast members who can help specifically with your convention tickets.
