Hello, What is the process for entering the parks with a mobility scooter? Do we need any type of documentation? My daughter will only need it to move around, and she can stand in line with her cane. It's only walking around that is painful for her.

¡Hola, Monica! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for bringing us your question. I just love it when my fellow Mexicans stop by to say hello!

I'm very happy to report that your daughter will not need any type of documentation to enter the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks with her mobility scooter. She will also be able to move freely around the parks! Aside from that, you can check with the Cast Members at the front of each attraction to see how accessible their ride or show is. Some attractions will require your daughter to transfer to a wheelchair, some of them will have her transfer directly to the ride vehicle, and some will actually allow her to stay in her scooter the entire time!

Monica, as you can see, the Walt Disney World Resort is very serious about making every single Guest feel as welcome as possible. If your daughter would like to leave her scooter outside for personal reasons, she can also do so by parking it where the Cast Members at each attraction tell her to, but I just want you to know that she doesn't have to stand in line if she doesn't want to. You can also visit any Guest Relations location if you'd like to know more about your daughter's options regarding accessibility.

I hope my answer helped clarify your concerns, Monica! If you have any other questions for us in English o en españolplease don't hesitate to come back here. We're always available and more than happy to help!

    Warm hugs,

    Ana Paula
