Hello, We're staying at the Beach Club during a trip this May. Though I know it's a long walk to the monorail, we greatly prefer it to the buses. If Epcot is closed, is the monorail inaccessible if we're coming from the Beach Club? Thanks!

Welcome to the Moms Panel Chad! We're glad you're hEAR!

The Beach Club Resort is my absolute favorite resort and the monorail is my favorite way to travel.

The Epcot monorail typically runs 1 hour prior to the park opening to 1 hour after closing. Be sure to check with the Concierge at Beach Club to confirm the hours of operation during your trip.

Usually, if Epcot is closed, you will not be able to walk through to access the monorail.  Future World opens prior to the World Showcase and you will be able to enter through the International Gateway entrance prior to the World Showcase opening. Cast Members will direct you towards Canada and into Future World.  I like the way you think and had the same idea a couple of years ago.  Future World opened at 9 a.m. and we were able to enter a little before 9:00 a.m.  However, I wouldn't count on it especially if you have dining reservations or have to be somewhere at a certain time.  On those days, I'd suggest taking a bus, taxi or your own vehicle if your drove.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-)  Allison
