Welcome, Marie, to planDisney! I'm so happy you reached out to me with your question!
How exciting that you'll be at the
Most Magical Place on Earth during the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! And while I highly recommend both
Disney Jollywood Nights and
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you do not have to attend these separately ticketed events to enjoy the splendor of the holidays at the resort. Each park has unique and festive decorations and treats, and typically specialty entertainment, during this time of the year, even outside of the parties. It truly is the best place to experience the holidays!
On dates where Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is taking place at
Magic Kingdom Park, the nighttime spectacular will be exclusive to Guests who have purchased tickets to the party. This is because Guests not attending the party must exit the park by 6 p.m., and the show typically takes place at 10 p.m. This will be the case on December 20, 2024. However, if you visit the park on a night when the party isn't happening, the nighttime spectacular will take place for all Guests in the park (weather permitting).
Now, have you seen
the menus that were recently released for the Holiday Kitchens at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays? There are so many new and returning options...and they all look delicious! And the best part is that you don't need a separate ticket to experience
this holiday event! It takes place during regular park hours. Be sure to catch the Holiday Storytellers and the
Candlelight Processional that are a part of this festival. Just note that the Candlelight Processional is very popular, so I'd recommend getting in line pretty early to catch it or seeing if there's a dining package you can score to get priority seating.
Marie, enjoy your
holiday visit and be sure to
reach out again if you have any other questions.
There's no place like Disney for the holidays,
