Hiya, Kimberly! I am so happy to welcome you to planDisney. You have just a few more sleeps before Mickey and Minnie welcome you to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Hot dog! Hot dog! Hot diggity dog!
When my kids were little, I loved the convenience of renting strollers at
Walt Disney World Resort. Even when they were old enough that I rarely used them at home, the strollers were essential for long days and all the steps through the theme parks.
You can rent strollers from
locations at each of the theme parks, including two locations at EPCOT: one near the main entrance and one at the International Gateway. This is perfect if you are staying at a resort on
Disney's BoardWalk or one of the resorts on the
Disney Skyliner.
If you are
park hopping, you can return them at either EPCOT location and get another at the other theme parks. You will just need your receipt to pick up another stroller. You will also want to remember to keep track of your receipt if you are doing a multi-day rental.
I also like to take a ribbon to tie to the handle. A brightly colored ribbon will make your stroller easy to spot in a sea of sameness. When you are on the go and with little ones in tow, being able to see it without going through all the aisles is a time- and sanity-saver.
Did you know Walt Disney World has a
Planning Guide for Parents of Preschoolers & Small Children? This is a great resource for information on attractions, shows, character greetings and dining specific to your little Mouseketeers. You can also view the
list of attractions perfect for little ones.
I hope your trip has you saying "Oh boy! Oh boy!" If you have any other questions, please come back by
planDisney. You have a pal in us!
See 'Ya Real Soon!
