Hello, We have been to WDW many times but this year is the first time we are staying at a WDWR (AoA). We are celebrating my daughter's 7th birthday, as I did with my now 10 year. How hard is it to get transportation to other resorts and the parks for AD

    Hi Angelica!

You are going to love staying on Walt Disney World Property and I promise that you will be totally amazed by the Art of Animation Resort!  I had a chance to tour the Art of Animation Resort in November 2012 and I was blow away by this incredible Resort!  Disney transportation from the Art of Animation consists of buses that travel to all the four theme parks, Downtown Disney, and the two Water Parks.  It is extremely easy to get to any of these places using Disney transportation.  If you have an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) at a Walt Disney World Resort then you will have to take a bus to a theme park or Downtown Disney and then transfer to a bus going to the Resort that you are dining at.  There is no Resort to Resort transportation.  Keep in mind that going Resort to Resort using this method of transportation will take you approximately one hour to an hour and a half.  If you are in a time crunch, then you can always take a taxi which typically cost under $20.00 including tip for a one way fare anywhere on Walt Disney World Property.

I hope that your first time staying on Walt Disney World Property is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
