    Hello,we will be visiting WDW 8/19-8/24 at Contemporary. We have been chosen to test MagicBand's which we have already received. Will tickets feature on the bands be ready to use AM 8/19 or will we need to check in at our resort to activate bands first.

    Hello Kevin!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

    Congratulations on being chosen to test the Magic Bands while on your Walt Disney World vacation.

    As you well know, the Magic Bands are still in a testing stage and very few guests have tried them.
    I recommend that you contact a Disney Cast Member and ask any information specific to your reservation.
    The Magic Bands are supposed to be activated and ready to use once you arrive at Disney, so that you can make the most of the first day of vacation, but I cannot guarantee that yet.

    The Contemporary Resort offers great transportation services - bus, monorail or boat.  It is one Monorail stop away from the Transportation & Ticket Center (also one stop away from Epcot) and other resorts featuring excellent restaurants.
    The best part of the Contemporary Resort location is that guests can walk in less than 20 minutes to the Magic Kingdom - fast and relaxing.
