Hello, We are visiting Magic Kingdom in later April. I know you can make fastpass reservations 30 days out for guest not staying at the resorts. My question is what time do they go live? I know two years ago I could reserve FP at 12:00 am EST.

    Hi Jason,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your trip to Magic Kingdom Park is right around the corner – how exciting!

I love FastPass+ reservation day! Making your selections really makes your Walt Disney World Vacation seem real, and you can start to imagine riding the rides, eating the park snacks, and taking in all the magic. You’re correct that off-site Guests are able to make their FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance, and you will be able to start making those selections at 7:00 a.m. EST on your 30-day mark.

Jason, my strategy is to make my FastPass+ selections in the order of difficulty rather than in chronological order. Start with the most in-demand attractions (or the attractions most important to you) and then fill in with the others. At Magic Kingdom Park, this usually means searching for 7 Dwarfs Mine Train first. I then go through Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Peter Pan’s Flight. Then, fill in with your favorites. If you’re not able to find FastPass+ selections for certain attractions, don’t give up! Use your My Disney Experience app to search in the days leading up to your vacation. If all else fails, head straight to that attraction at park opening, when the standby queue will be shortest.

Have fun selecting your FastPass+ reservations!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
