Hello, We will be visiting Disneyword magic kingdom on 3/18/22. How much does is cost and who do we contact to get a behind the scenes private tour?

Welcome to planDisney, Sean! I'm always happy to help a fellow Coloradan plan a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for sending us your question.

There are some tour options offered for Magic Kingdom Park. Disney's Keys to Kingdom Tour is a five-hour behind-the-scenes look at Walt's first and most iconic theme park at Walt Disney World. This tour, which is $114 plus tax, per person, recently returned and is very popular. You can check availability for this tour here by selecting your desired tour date and the number of people in your travel party. Another tour option would be to reserve a Disney Private VIP Tour by calling (407) 560-4033. At this time, the price for this tour varies from $425 to $850 per hour, depending on the season, and the tour must be booked for a minimum of seven continuous hours. This tour accommodates up to 10 people, including infants. Everyone in your tour group is required to have a theme park ticket and a Disney Park Pass Reservation. Both of these tour options can be booked up to 60 days prior to the arrival date. Because your arrival date is next month, it's possible these tours might not be available. If by chance neither of these tour options is available, I would suggest checking again within 24 hours before your arrival date. Sometimes last-minute cancellations can occur.

If you love having VIP experiences when you vacation, be sure to check out the Enchanting Extras Collection for additional special opportunities. I recently reserved and enjoyed a private specialty cruise to watch Harmonious, a new fireworks nighttime spectacular at EPCOT. The cruise included our very own captain, snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water. We were allowed to bring alcohol on board and the view was absolutely amazing! I also highly recommend reserving a private poolside cabana if you have a pool day planned.

The World's Most Magical Celebration will be happening during your visit and there's so much to see and do! I would suggest making some advanced dining reservations so you can have time to relax and enjoy a special meal or two. Some of my favorites are The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs, Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in Italy at EPCOT, and Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom.

As you are planning, please stop by planDisney again if you have additional questions. We're always happy to help!

    Adventure is out there!
