Hello~We visit in April for our Spring Break. Thinking about another month;however don't want kids to miss several school days. What other time of year would you suggest for nice weather, special events, etc.? We haven't been at Christmas yet. Thanks!

    Hi Lynne, welcome back!

April is a beautiful time to visit, but if you haven't experienced the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort, I highly recommend it.  As the video shows, there are lots of yuletide festivities which add a sprinkle of Pixie Dust to the most wonderful time of the year and some extra holiday warmth to your magical vacation.   Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my all-time favorite events.  Where else can you see Mickey and Santa and drink hot chocolate as snow falls on Main Street, U.S.A.?  It is an evening any Disney fan will truly cherish.

Although weather is never predictable, when we were there last December it fluctuated from days where we needed a light jacket, to days we were happy playing in the pool.  All in all it was very enjoyable.

There truly are so many wonderful reasons to visit around Christmas and I would be thrilled to help you plan this new experience. Please let me know if you have any further questions I can assist you with.  Have a wonderful time planning and if I don't hear from you, have an amazing vacation.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
