Hello, We have a upcoming stay at Boulder Ridge in a Deluxe Studio. It is our first time staying at a DVC property. Do all the studios at Boulder Ridge have balconies? Also I am bringing my own coffee. What kind of coffee filters do I need to bring? Thanks

Hello there, Tanja and welcome back to planDisney! We love it when we get to chat with returning guests!

Tanja, I'm so excited to hear that you're headed to Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge! With its warm wood and rustic finishes, this property always feel like the most luxurious woodland experience. In fact, my family and I love this place so much that when we were considering a Disney Vacation Club Membership, we knew that Copper Creek Villas & Cabins was the perfect "home" resort for us. Tanja, can you tell that just like the outdoor feature at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Fire Rock Geyser, I like to... gush?

Well, now that we've talked about the overall feeling of the resort, let's get to your question. First, in regards to balconies: I will share that almost all of the deluxe studios have balconies. Tanja, because there are so few rooms withOUT balconies, your odds are good that you will score that outdoor space, but I would recommend specifically requesting one before your arrival. To do this you can call into Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936 and ask them to make a note on your account that you're requesting a balcony.

Second, since my day never starts without a jolt of caffeine, I appreciate that you're also asking about coffee amenities in the deluxe studio rooms. At Boulder Ridge Villas you will find a full size drip-style coffee pot with a flat bottom filter. Upon your arrival, you'll also find a sample of Joffrey's Coffee for you to enjoy and no need to pack mugs or cups as they're provided in the upper cabinets of your kitchenette. Tanja, I hope this helps a LATTE as you're thinking ahead to your upcoming vacation. If you find that in addition to your brewed pot you need an extra sweet or specialty coffee, I recommend swinging by Roaring Fork where you can try the Wilderness Bark Latte (chocolate hazelnut) and other fun choices.

Best wishes, Tanja, for a truly Magical vacation. I hope you'll come back and visit us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have,
