Hello, We are trying to decide between All Star Movies Resort, Port Orleans and Caribbean Beach. We have been twice before, and have stayed both on and off (never again) property. Looking for some opinions of All Star hotels. We have a 5 yr old.

Howdy, Jaclyn! I am with you; staying on property is a must for my family vacations.  It’s the most convenient way to steep yourself in the magic and makes transportation an absolute breeze! I have a young son and a baby, so I’m happy to share my experiences with you!

I have stayed at the All-Star Resorts, and they are so expansive. There are lots of offerings, from themed pools to giant in-resort food courts. You’ll find a large bus system, but in my opinion, the bus lines can often be very crowded since they serve all three All-Star Resorts. The hotel rooms adequately fit a family of four, or 5 if you opt for a Pack N Play in the corner. Bring some extra toiletries so you have enough to share!

I personally love to stay at Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter because of both its size and transportation options. French Quarter is quiet, quaint, and offers deluxe amenities at a Moderate Resort price. For instance, I enjoy the water taxi rides to Disney Springs and the bus service to the other parks from Walt Disney World Bus Service stops while my husband is first in line for beignets at breakfast.  Your 5-year-old would LOVE the playground and the alligator-mardi-gras themed statues and pool.

I hope you enjoy your magical vacation, and please stop by to ask me another question, I’d love to help you some more! ~Lindsey
