Hello, We will be traveling to WDW in Feb. We would like to stay in one of the moderate Disney resorts. Which one do you recommend ?

    Hi Debra,

When it comes to deciding which Walt Disney World Resort Moderate Resort Hotel would be best for your family, I’m sure that every panelist would give you a different response!

My personal favourite Resort in that category is definitely Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. I absolutely love its theming (think New Orleans/Mardi Gras) and, most importantly, its compact size. All of the other Moderates are gigantic, sprawling complexes in which some Guests will need to take an internal bus to get from one end to the other. Everything is within walking distance at the French Quarter - a definite advantage! Plus, if you have any little ones in your party, this Resort has a new aquatic play area which I’m sure they’ll love.

If, however, the size of your Resort isn’t an issue for you, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is definitely a solid second choice. Although it’s a huge complex, that size means that you have increased dining options, as well as a very cool pool: the Dig Site. If your party doesn’t include any small children and having a Resort with better dining options is important to you, I would choose Coronado Springs for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope my answer helps you plan your vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Lynne
