Hi Jill!
I'm so happy to hear you've got a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the calendar! November is a great time to visit, as the theme parks are festively decorated, getting guests in the holiday spirit.
With a December visit on my own calendar, I was excited to hear that Walt Disney World had announced the 2017 dates for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Here's the information from Walt Disney World's official website:
Held on select evenings, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is currently scheduled to take place on the following dates in 2017:
November 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26 and 28
December 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 22
Sadly, at this time, Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom Park is not featuring a nighttime parade. The Main Street Electrical Parade was moved to Disneyland Resort in the fall, and as of yet, has not been replaced with another nighttime offering.
Last summer, I had the chance to visit Disneyland Park during their 60th Anniversary Celebration, and was able to see Disney's Paint the Night Parade. It was AMAZING. I'm selfishly hoping that Paint the Night will find a new home at Walt Disney World, but so far there have been no announcements that it's moving to Florida. In the meantime, I'm super excited to check out the new fireworks show in Magic Kingdom Park, beginning May 12th - Disney's
Happily Ever After Nighttime Spectacular. I can't wait to see what the Imagineers have in store with this awesome new show!
I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
