    Hello, We are taking our first cruise. It is a 3 day trip to Bahamas. Just wondering if I should book a port excursion or stay onboard the ship? Any recommendations? Thank you

    Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on booking your very first Disney Cruise Line cruise! I can't wait for you to see all the fun Captain Mickey and his friends have in store for you during your voyage to paradise. Each evening you'll receive a Personal Navigator newsletter in your stateroom that will list the schedule of the following day's activities. My family and I love looking through the newsletter and highlighting everything we want to "sea" and do the next day!

    I think booking a Port Adventure in Nassau, Bahamas would be an exciting way to see the beautiful island. One of my favorite Port Adventures in Nassau is the Atlantis Aquaventure. The Atlantis Resort Paradise Island is breathtaking. Not only will you have access to all the splashtacular fun at the Aquaventure water park, you'll also get to explore everything Atlantis Resort has to offer. If you choose to explore Nassau on your own, it's the perfect port of call to do so! You can visit with local merchants, go shopping and eat at local restaurants just minutes away from where the cruise ship is docked. If we don't plan an excursion, we often disembark the ship in the morning to explore the island and then return to the ship for the rest of the afternoon!
