Hello Calvin!
Wahoo! You’re about to set sail on a
Very Merrytime voyage. December is such a fun month to be cruising with Captain Mickey! It’s sure to make for a holly jolly holiday.
So much depends on what you mean by a resort in the Walt Disney World area. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, then you could arrange to use
Disney Cruise Line ground transportation and ride a motorcoach from your resort to the port on your sail date.
But off property resorts and hotels do not have this service available, so you would have to make your own travel arrangements through one of the ridesharing companies or private car service. If you will be a Walt Disney World Resort guest, you would go to “My Reservations” on the
Disney Cruise Line website and select ground transportation, providing which Disney Resorts Collection hotel you will be staying at before you set sail. Disney Cruise Line will handle the rest!
I can say that it’s fun to make reservations to travel to the port via a fancy car or limo service. It really impressed my kids when we did that many moons ago, and for a large group or travel party, it is actually cost effective. Just thought I would suggest that in case you want to splurge on a surprise!
I know you only have a few more days before you set sail, but feel free to drive the information superhighway back to planDisney as you continue to finalize your cruise plans. Wishing you a Very Merry(time) cruise!
Happy Holidays!
Sherry
