Hello, We will be staying at Pop Century Resort this October for a week. I would like to know if we have the option of food being delivered from local restaurants(outside Disneyworld) to our resort. Do we need to check with resort first?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sonali!

You and I have something in common; I'll be staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort this October too. I can't wait! I love the newly renovated rooms at this resort and the larger-than-life icons on the ends of each building. They offer us fun conversation starters to talk to our kids about each decade from the second half of twentieth century American history. Don't you just love it when you get to learn something while you're on vacation?

With regard to your question, you are permitted to have food from off-site restaurants delivered to Disney's Pop Century Resort during your stay. If you do so, it is recommended that you give your cell phone number to the restaurant with whom you placed the order so that you can meet the delivery person in the lobby of the hotel to receive your goods.

By the way, if you need any recommendations for a specific type of cuisine or an iconic Disney treat while you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort, don't hesitate to post a follow-up question. My friends and I love to talk Disney dining and would be happy to share tips for finding the best food on property.

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
