Hello, We are staying in an Animal Kingdom Lodge Villa. Do the villas have dishwashing soap or laundry soap or do we need to bring/purchase those items separately? And if we do need to buy it, is it available in the shop in the resort? Thanks!

    Hi Mykaila,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Whether you are visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village or Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, you are in for a treat. This resort features amazing African artwork, beautiful decor, and exotic animals outside of nearly every window!

One of the things I love about staying in a Disney Vacation Club villa is having many of the conveniences of home with me at Walt Disney World. In a one-, two-, or three-bedroom villa, you will have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer right in your villa! When you arrive, you will find your villa stocked with starter single packs of consumables such as laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent. If you find that you run out during your stay, you can contact housekeeping to ask them if they are able to bring you more. You can also check out the merchandise locations Johari Treasures at Kidani Village or Zawadi Marketplace at Jambo House. Each of these locations sells sundries. You can also typically find single-pack laundry detergent for sale in the laundry rooms in the Disney resort hotels.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Mykaila! Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
